Battery Analysis(Fit file) on Mac

Hi all,

I have read different posts on how to look at the voltage to understand where your Vector 3 batteries are currently at. I have had the battery okay, and then battery low message before and then after a ride. I have a Mac, and downloaded FitFileExplorer from the App Store to analyze a fit file. My issue is that I cannot locate a fit file to analyze, where would these be stored? I did see another post about the files being stored underneath the Library/Application Support/Garmin.... etc, but I never was able to find the Garmin folder. I am stuck at this point.

Side issue, I had to reinstall the Garmin Express 6.5.1 software because as of a few days ago, as it no longer connects to Garmin's background service and will not even connect to my watch(I believe Garmin is aware of this and is working on a fix). Re-install did not fix this issue... Waiting on update from Garmin...

In the meantime any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated in regards to finding the fit files to analyze from my rides. Thank you!

What device do you use to record your activities? An Edge computer? Smart phone?

The .FIT files are on that device. They may get copied to Garmin Connect, Strava, Training Peaks, or elsewhere. I have an Edge 1030 and am a Windows 10 user. I always copy my activities to my PC. They go automatically to Garmin Connect, and then on to Strava. So I have multiple sources for finding my activities. Since I have the Fit File Repair Tool on the PC, the files saved on the PC are the easiest one to use.

Thank you for chiming in Colin. I have since figured it out and use an app from the apple store to analyze my Mac data and voltage associated with the be new batteries.

Interesting - I either parsed the FIT file via https://fit2tcx.runalyze.com/temp/ or used FitFileTools under Windows. What's the name of the Mac you found?
