I've had the same issue as inglen twice with my Vector 3 pedals ! And same problem as oledzeppelin can't screw and tighten the bolt back, arrgghh !
The 2mm hex bolt at the inner rear of my Vector 3 left came loose (but fortunately I didn't lose anything). I realigned and tightened it, but at home when checking with a torque wrench, both sides were less than 3Nm torque.
Bolt is the same as pic from OP
Does anybody know what the correct torque is?
Mine is a replaced garmin vector 3 two sided and the new one has not reached the two years yet. Left has this issue and happened suddenly and there were no sign of the screw came loose.
i suspect this will be managed by Garmin once I report it. Am I correct?
Hi Shawn,
Recently it has happened with me too with Vector 3 with the left one.
The warranty will be over in few weeks.
Who to report it? Is there any way to fix it?
Also I see wear on both of the pedals much more compared to the non-garmin one.
It looks like to me the material used by Garmin is not that hard compared to a look keo2 or similar.
Any idea?
