I keep getting low battery warnings on Edge 1030 however iOS connect app via Bluetooth says batteries are good and graphic shows 100% so not sure which to believe. Can't believe battery level reporting differs from ANT+ to Bluetooth?
The voltage reported by the batteries can drop below the warning threshold of 2.60v for a short period, but then recover enough so that the status is shown as good or OK when you check after a ride or at the start of the next ride. My advice would be to ignore the low battery warning until it appears when you switch on your head unit and calibrate, before you set off, and then plan to change the batteries before your next ride. I got in excess of 30 hours riding after my initial low battery warning so it's; a waste to change them too early.
