We are investigating the cycling dynamics control issue on the right pedal.
Today I train again with my vector 3 pedals. No issue or errors where detecte with GCD as it did last time. This time I first answer the question for calibrating before starting my activity as I usually do. My last post, I described that by some reason, I first started de activity and about 20s or 30s later that I start de activity, edge520 ask me if I wanted to calibrate the pedals, my answer was no and continue with my activity. Maybe this matter generated that last time, GCD for right pedal was not recorded. Here is today activity which register info normally. 2640587080.zip
Finally (after a lot of time and attempted I lost), I can update to 3.3 via GCM yesterday and cycling indoor today. Everything look fine.
ps. Yesterday, I faced same problem as stevekn and try to update alomost 5-6 times. Then, I decided to look at my 920xt. It showed V 3.3. Therefore, I deleted vector from CM and re-connect. 3.3 was showed.
Update: after a week or so or riding with the new 3.30 firmware, it is better than 3.00, but intermittently get the "right pedal missing" message on my Edge 510. Communication with GCM seems to be fixed, no issues seeing current settings on Vector 3 pedals when connected to GCM.
Cycling dynamics sometimes drops out or reappears mid ride (see two attached files): - in the 1st one the Cycling dynamics data stops at about 16:40 - in the second, no Cycling dynamics until about 18:40 both rides involved a pause for a ferry crossing, in one the data pre-dates the pause, and in the other it started after the pause

Same problem...return my Vector 3 and after a month garmin didn t send me new or my old vector 3. I have also Vector 3S in other bike, i made the stupity of upgrade to 3.30, no i have dropouts all the time. Using Vector 3 since November and only bad things to say. I am responsable for a triathlon team with 48 athletes, everyweek i tell to a new athlete to buy other power system instead garmin. Its sad!
Can we have an update of the status of this problem and your investigation?
We have identified the root causes of this problem. We are doing internal testing and review of solutions for this and other issues. I don't have an expected release date at this point.

t_smit why don t garmin consider a update that in fact downgrade Vector 3 S allowing the use without so many dropouts until the new firmware gets ready?
Before the update of the firmware i didn t had this continuous dropouts in the 3 S.
