Strange torque offset values

When calibrating my V3S with a Wahoo Element Bolt (ANT+) a ‘Toque offset’ value is given after successful calibration. This number has always been zero - I’ve done 3 indoor rides (Zwift) of varying intensities.

However, when doing the same via BLE, I get ‘Torque offset’ values of zero and 65534.

So, how can I be assured that the calibration process is OK or whether there is an issue with the V3S?

Would be good to get some advice/instruction :-)

This looks like a bug in the Wahoo implementation. The returned torque value can be either positive or negative.
A value of 65534 would come about if they treat it as an unsigned value rather than a signed value (where 65534 would translate to -2).

-2 converts in to -2/32 or -0.06 Nm. Torque is sent in units of 1/32 Nm.

A numeric variable is signedif it can represent both positiveand negativenumbers, and unsignedif it can only represent non-negativenumbers (zero or positive numbers).
