V3 - which calibration number to use? (BLE or ANT+)

I’m using a V3S with version 3 firmware and a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt for calibration/manual zero offset.

I understand that ANT+ is best for pairing with the Wahoo.

However, I happened to pair the Wahoo via BLE and did the calibration and noticed the number was ‘-9’. I immediately then paired via ANT+ and noticed that the number was ‘0’.

The questions that arise for me are:

1- which number will the pedals use?
2- which number is the right/accurate one?

Hope someone can shed some light on this :-)

The zero calibration is an internal process, and regardless of the numbers, the pedals will use it.

Vector 3 returns a status code (0 = success) and then transmits values corresponding to the torque that is currently applied, so you can do torque tests if necessary. I don't know if the Wahoo head units display the torque value.

I get a message from the Bolt saying that calibration was a success (or fail). Will pay closer attention to the actual numbers displayed on the Bolt to verify whether this is the status code or torque value.

When the Wahoo finishes caliberation successfully (ANT+) a ‘Toque offset’ value is given. This number has always. been zero - I’ve done 3 indoor rides (Zwift) of varying intensities. Is this normal?

I did the same via BLE and get ‘Torue offset’ values of zero and 65534. Is this normal?
