Vector 3 not waking up after Software 3.00 Update from GCM on Android

For weeks GCM on Android would always crash before the Software Update to 3.00 could start. The latest update for GCM on Android finally managed to get past that hurdle yesterday. The update to the Vector 3 software started up, sent a completion message, and ever since the pedals will not wake up anymore.

It's time for a warranty return. In a way I'm glad, because I suffered most of the other Vector 3 problems also.
  • Do the pedals give any kind of LED indication when you give the cranks half a turn to wake them? If not, try backing the battery door off one full turn, then snugging them back up, on each side.
  • Yesterday "pressing power off" didn't do anything. Earlier today I got the uninstalled pedals to wake up with it. They still wouldn't connect in GCM ios. In the meantime though, they're back in the original box in their little plastic bags and the box itself is in a shipping box ready to be returned to Garmin under warranty. Just because I haven't posted on all the other defects of the Vector 3 pedals doesn't mean I haven't suffered from them.
