With Garmin now providing more detail on how to self-serve issues on the battery door (thanks BTW, I did find it a really helpful and detailed post), it would seem that they recognise it is a delicate piece of hardware.
I wonder if they will re-design it so it is more robust and then make that new holder available to existing Vector owners? I guess only Garmin know how big the issue is, in terms of units sold and how many owners are currently impacted.
