Vector Accuracy

purchased new Vector 3 pedals on Friday from my LBS. I installed them on my trainer bike in order check accuracy. I was surprised to find that they grossly over reported my power for 10 minutes by the order of about 25 watts @ 180 watts. It was measured against a properly calibrated and warmed up Computrainer. Also, the crank arm lengths and zero offset were entered for the Vectors. Last, I know there are drive train losses, but not 25 watts +/- @ 180ish. 4-5 watts maybe, but not 25.

Next step is to compare again with new batteries and adding in a PowerTap rear hub. Three power sources will tell me who is odd man out. Im afraid it will be the Vectors since it felt like 180, not 205.

I will contact Garmin if it is the culprit, but does anyone have other ideas? I can't do a static torque test as I just not set up for that (and new pedals should not require that).

I'm not upset since quality control will never be perfect.
