LR44 or SR44 batteries. Is any one type preferred for Vector 3?

Reading through the manual I see that the battery types are as follows:

User-replaceable LR44 or SR44, 1.5 V, 2 per pedal

I am curious if it is better to use one over the other type of battery. Is battery life and or performance any better with one type of battery over the other? Does Garmin recommend one over the other or does it not matter?. I just got my Vector pedals so the batteries are still new but I (as well as others I imagine) plan on getting some extra batteries to have on hand.

Does Garmin suggest one over the other type?

I am not getting drop outs on either set, I have the Vector 3 and the Vector 3S, is it on the trainer? or outdoor riding? I see a few that experience it on the trainer. With it being summertime most of my rides are outdoors and when I do get on the trainer I use power from the Kickr not the pedals. Most of my issues with the pedals at the onset was the right Sensor Missing I still get it occasionally on long descents when the pedals go into sleep mode but they always recover when I start spinning again.

Nick,

Your first file is set to private, on the second file towards the end where it says you're standing looks like its probably a dropout but to me the rest looks like a normal outdoor ride. I think on outdoor rides you stop spinning the pedals more than you think and that will look like a drop. While spinning with a good cadence do you see the numbers drop on your screen?

Here is my last outdoor ride and I dont feel like any of the 0 watts were drops now I can show you old files from when I used Stages now those were drops :)

Just fixed the first link- now set to public. Yeah, you are right- it could well be that I wasn't spinning during those times.
I don't tend to look at my Edge 1030, while cycling, other than for navigation. I will set up a screen just for wattage that I can easily monitor.

Nick,

Looks like there might be more on the first file but they are real short, like just a couple of seconds unless you feel that it's skewing your data numbers I wouldn't focus on it. Once you've done a lot of training with power meters you will get a good feel for where you're at even without it, when I race I rarely look at any of my data it's all by feel.

Post the fit file of the first link and maybe t_smit will look into it and see if the pedals are sending any resets .
