Vector 3 compatibility with Edge Explore 1000

According to the Garmin website (https://buy.garmin.com/en-GB/GB/p/573589#devices) the Edge Explore 1000 is compatible with the Vector 3.

What does compatible mean? For example, will Left / Right power be displayable on the Explore and recorded?

Balance is an attribute of the basic ANT+ bike power message, and as such it is interpreted, displayable, and recorded by all Garmin bike computers and watches (and even the Virb cameras) that can receive bike power messages.

The cycling dynamics features (power phase, PCO, seated/standing interval recording, etc.) are not supported on the Edge Explore 1000. The displayable fields are listed in the appendix of the owners' manual. (http://static.garmin.com/pumac/Edge_Explore_1000_OM_EN.pdf)
