Crazy Heart Data

Last night, my heart rate on my Garmin fenix was utterly insane. I woke up this morning my throat was a little sore and I felt tired, so I guessed I had a few sleep apnea episodes. Its not something that I've never had before. But my Garmin heart rate data is completely crazy and I don't know if the sensor was being messed up somehow as I slept. Because it it has two nearly hour long spikes with 130-140 bpm rates! This is higher than my mountain hiking heart rate and there is one peak of about 20 minutes where my heart rate is over 150, peaking at 161. It looks like I was running my half marathon race pace at 4AM in the morning and this is far far beyond the norm. Is there anything that can mess up a sensor like this? I have never registered any night issues like this before.

These rates are not something anyone would experience during sleep without noticing. Even a panic attack is smoother. Sounds more like the data was confused with some other recorded file.
