Hello,

I've been using my index smart scale for about 1 year.
Since last few weeks, I realized that , it's always showing X after trying to upload data.
When I notice this, I try scale few times more, and it shows "check"
But nowadays it never shows "check mark" even after I try several times, on the other hand, even it's >>>>>> X , it uploads all data to GC immediately when I check via my phone or web.

Anyone have similar issue?

Same problem here. But only with more than 1 user connected to the Scale...

Since I am blind as a bat and usually never wear my glasses when I stand on the scale in the morning I have never noticed the check! I can make out my ID flash and the numbers change and also would make out the transfer bar >>>>>>>>>> but the check was just too small. Anyway, since you asked if anyone else had this issue, I decided to wear my glasses this morning. Sure enough I saw the check. Interestingly Hovmark, I have one other user connected to the scale.

CaRaBeen, since you've owned the scale for over a year and it was working, did you recently add another user to the scale as Hovmark has suggested? Maybe the solution is more simple; when was the last time you changed the batteries in the scale? Whenever my heart rate strap, footpod, vivofit or index scale starts acting up, the first thing I do is replace the batteries just to rule out that issue.

Coming from Competitor system... and having both Index and Fenix 5 Garmin support and sw development is a Nightmare

same problem. X at the end of the progress bar but data syncs.

Batteries ok. Full reset was done few weeks ago. Tried to re pair with phone. But I am still getting >>>X.

Has anybody tried full reset of the scales?

Garmin Denmark replaced my Index Scale cause my setup was okay. But the problem persist.
1 user transfere ends with V
2 user both ends with X
Delete second user so it's only me. It then ends with V.
So for me, the problem has something to do with more than 1 user on the Index Scale

Since April/May I've always had to try 15-20 times in order to get the data uploaded, and even when it did I never got the V, only >>>> about half way then X.
However this morning - for the first time in months - the weight successfully uploaded the data to GC on the very first try. (>>>>>>>>>>>V)

Fingers crossed that Garmin has fixed the issue and that it was not only a coincidence!

I'm having this same issue too. Interestingly, I have three user users setup and all of us get the " >>>>>>>>>> X" response, but my details DO upload to Garmin Connect. No other users's data does. I have tried moving the scale right next to the wifi router with no change in behaviour.
Do Garmin monitor this forum or not? I'll be raising a problem ticket.
