I've had a Garmin index scale for some time now. Its been very good apart from a sudden drop in the fat measurement by some 10% overnight. Luckily that seemed to have been correctable by a manual adjustment. The problem I'm having now though seems to be that whilst it shows all the data when I stand on the scale. Weight, body fat, muscle mass, skeletal weight etc. It only seems to be passing the weight measurement and the BMI to the Garmin connect app. This means that in order to get decent records I have to write down the info manually and enter into a spreadsheet manually instead which nullifies the whole point of having the scale. It has been doing this for about the last 9 days. Does anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks for your response. I'm not sure that I'm having exactly the same problem (it might be in which case I hope they fix it soon). Most of those people are claiming they see the synced data on Garmin connect which then disappears after viewing on Garmin connect. I am not seeing anything other than the weight and BMI ever appearing in the first place. As I'ver had this scale since about 1 month after they first came out and this is the first problem I've had. It is very annoying. I am wondering about resetting it and trying a repairing exercise to see if that fixes the problem.
Hi! I used the scales in the morning and it showed all the info. When I weighed myself a couple of times a day, everything apart weight and BMI disappeared. Resolved by deleting the data on a day with multiple weights.
