Measurements diapearing from Garmin Connect

So here is what I am observing:

I weigh in on my Garmin Index every morning. If I check Garmin Connect shortly thereafter, it shows all six measurements - weight, body fat, BMI, % water, Muscle Mass, and Bone Mass. Then sometime during the day, all the measurements disappear except for Weight. I have checked Garmin Connect on my PC, Android Phone, and IPad and its the same on all of the, the reset of the measurements are gone.

Has anyone else noticed this?

    I've found that if you weigh yourself and don't sync your watch for the rest of the day and get past midnight you get to keep you weight. I've also found that if on day 1 you weigh yourself and experience the failed to upload because of the scsles not finding WiFi bug then on day 2 if you weigh yourself asnd your scales establishes a connection and uploads then the day one and day 2 weights upload together. If you then sync your watch the day 2 weight gets overwritten but not the day 1 weight as this is no longer the current day. A reaslly crappy work around would be to weigh yourself late in the evening and not let your watch sync till after 12

  • Since January 4th only my weight from the index scale is syncing to Garmin Connect. The rest of the data (BMI, BF%, etc), doesn't seem to get recorded in Connect.

    Called Garmin product support. They added me as a "case #" as they have received similar issues. Apparently there are only 10 cases recorded with similar issues.

    Would encourage anyone with the same problem to call Garmin as the rep I spoke to said the more cases are added the higher the priority level to get issue fixed.

  • I connected MFP a couple of weeks ago, I was away for a week so didn't record my weight. However since the connect i too have been missing the extended specs.
    Disconnected today and all the stats are back.

    Who's fault is this because someone needs to sort it out!!!

    Try the same if you did an activety with the Fenix 5x and synchronise again......
  • After my last post a week ago i did a little try and error testing. I'm using Fenix 5X, Index scale, MFP and Garmin Fenis 5x
    A.) With MFP connected the Garmin show kg, BMI, fat and water on the first screen of the mobile app, Delta shows a "0". Next page on the mobile app only kg and BMI.
    On the webside only the weight is visible.
    I did a little bikeride and synchronised with the Fenix 5X. Result disapearing data from the first scteen of the mobile app.

    B) MFP connection disabled. The mobile app shows all data even on the second screen fat, muscle etc. On the website are all data present.
    I did a swimsession and synchronised with the Fenix 5X. All index scale given data lost on mibile app beside kg and BMI and on the website all data gone.

    C) MFP connection disabled. The mobile app shows all data even on the second screen. On the website are all data present.
    I did a little bikeride and synchronised with the Garmin Edge 810. All index scale given data still present on mibile app and on the website.

    Ok slr far so good. But what happend. All the missing data from yesterday are there again in the mobile app and on the website. But not fridays data measured under A.
    Garmin, this was a free test. More to follow.

    Today. MFP still disconnected. The scale and WiFi connection worked super fast. Within a few seconds everything was send. Al the data present on the mobile app and on the website.
    I planned to ride on the bike to work (Fenix 5x). Because the last times all the data disappeared i wanted to make a screenshot........ The data (only of today) were gone.... without doing a thing. Strange.
    After the ride I uploaded the ride with the Fenix. Tomorrow I will check if todays data are present again. This weekend I'll reconnect MFP and see what's going happen.

    Not true: just check syncing your watch by Garmin Express on your PC and you'll notice you lose your weight data as well.

    I synchronized without performing any training.
  • Hello All, I have the same issue and it started on January 17, 2017. Contacted Garmin once I was aware of it and got rid of the MFP which I did not use are like, then uninstalled app and reinstalled and reconnected everything. Still had the same issue Contacted Garmin again and was told this is an ongoing issue that they are working on. Like another person I created a send account and linked the scale. While my main account is till having issues the second one shows all the status from the scale. I am using a Vivoactive 3 Garmin watch and figured that the software is very similar to the Fenix and others that are having this issue. Total times to Contact Garmin thus far 3. Hope it gets fixed soon. I also, have the little blue dot stating that my scale has an update ready. The Scale is on 3.0.0.0 version at this time.
