Would the Garmin Scale Team Kindly Provide Us an Update on Myfitnesspal integration?

Guys - you advertised the scale to work with myfitnesspal and months later it still doesn't work.

What's the status? When are you looking to provide the fix?

What other updates are coming?

don't keep us in the dark here.

As everyone always says on here, these are user-to-user forums and it's extremely unlikely that you'll get a response from anyone at Garmin. Even if someone at Garmin does read it, they don't want to go posting responses on the forums because it's an open-invitation for everyone to pile in with their anger and criticism.

If you actually want a response then hit up support:

Please report back if you hear anything interesting from them.

Thanks - I just gave them a piece of my mind!!! Hah well nicely.

btw they (garmin refs) do respond to our posts on this forum. At least on the fenix 3 forum.
  • I submitted a support ticket regarding MFP sync as well.
  • Garmin is aware of the issues users are seeing when syncing with MFP and are actively working on a resolution. I do not have a timeline as to when this will be released but I will update everyone when this becomes available.
  • THIS WAS NEVER AN INTENDED FEATURE :( Everyone please submit the idea so they can make this change happen.

Thank you for contacting Garmin International.
The weight information not transferring, is not an issue that needs fixing, it is simply not a feature. I have included a link below, where you can submit an idea to our development team. The more people that make this suggestion, the more likely it will be implemented. You are by no means the first person to ask about weight syncing to MyFitnessPal.

Now if your calorie information is not syncing, we do have troubleshooting steps for that.

  • What`s left then ? We have a weight who allows us to use it once a day,(with readings saved) no sync between connect and MFP , then my arguments for buying this weight is gone.

Maybe it's a feature that your weight data will be overwritten in Garmin Connect by MFP. That sounds like a good feature to me.

This is really frustrating. Worst decision I made so far was selling my Withings WS-50 Smart Scale to get the Garmin Index Scale....
The Garmin Connect Mobile already integrates with the IOS HealthKit however it is not sharing weight information. Surely a must have feature for a so called 'smart' device...

I have been using Health Pro app to move data from the connect app to health, it's working quite well but it's not automatic as such, but is only a simple press of the update button.

    +1, agree totally
