There is an app called health pro in the Australian iphone app store. It's free and syncs the data from the Index to the Health App.
The app looks a little clunky in its graphics but it actually displays all the info and gives a better trend indication that Garmins own app.
I don't understand why this is so hard for Garmin, yet some guy designs a free app that does it all!!!
Other option would be to send your Index weight data to MyFitnessPal, which will then write to HealthKit. The problem being that Garmin Connect Index Weight -> MyFitnessPal is like playing roulette. :cool:
It's crazy how the third part app Health Pro works perfectly to synchronize the Garmin Smart Scale with Health iOS app and the Garmin Connect App doesn't work with it. Come on Garmin!

I agree. Just downloaded the Health Pro app this morning - now I can get GC to write data to Health Pro, which in turn writes to the iOS Health app, which in turn sends data to MyFitnessPal. Clunky way of doing things, but it saves manually entering weight into MFP every day.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe today's Garmin Connect Mobile iOS app update introduced some of these features today. I believe Garmin can now write weight data (and floors and other stuff) to the Health App. Let me know if this works well for you all - I'm looking to purchase the scale once again.
GC Mobile updated today and all my previous weight data (weight, fat body, .. etc) from Index Smart Scale were synced to Health app ;)
