Uploading readings to Garmin Connect WITHOUT wifi

I'm about to setup my new scales and will do it via wifi or bluetooth, so the question is not about initial setup but ongoing use.

I'm going to be moving home a few times over the coming months but I want to record my readings once per day. Questions:

1. If the scales are not connected to a wifi network how long can the scales keep a record of my readings for on the scale?
2. Are all readings lost if the unit loses power i.e. batteries are taken out?
3. Can I upload readings daily from the scales to Garmin Connect via the bluetooth connected iphone app hence bypassing wifi completely? I assume readings transfer from the scales to the iphone app via bluetooth, then from the iphone app to Garmin Connect via mobile data from the phone?

I checked the manual but couldn't see anything except setup!

Thanks :-)

    1. Good question. I have no idea on how many are saved
    2. Same as above, but I'd expect it to save stuff over a battery change.
    3. Readings are only sent with wifi. BT is only used for configuring the wifi.

What you might try during the moving period, is to set up your phone as a wifi hotspot, and then configure the scale to use that wifi network. Start up the hotspot on your phone, weigh yourself and wait for the transfer, and then you can turn off the hotspot. (this can be done with Android, so I imagine it can can be done with iOS.)
