I am interested in the new Garmin Index smart scale but am confused about the setup procedure. The Owner's Manual says to setup using Mobile (Garmin Connect app), WPS or Computer (ANT+) but then goes on to mention only syncing via Wi-Fi. Due to WPS's inherent security flaws I will not use this option. As Garmin seem to be refusing to support Windows Phone, I cannot use the app option. Which leaves with the ANT+ option. My question is...
When setting up with ANT+ does it ask for your Wi-Fi password to enable it to connect to your Wi-Fi network from then on? Or does it mean you have to always sync with ANT+?
