Getting out of "Drill" mode

Hello.....first post in here as just received my Garmin Swim Watch yesterday and used it for the first time this AM. A couple of questions. I know how to set the Drill mode, and initiate the Drill mode, but how do you then get back out of that mode? For example, I did some kick drills this AM and so switched into the Drill mode and did that set. When done, I hit stop and it asked for the distance I went. I put that in, hit the "enter" button, and it was still in drill mode but I was doing a non-drill set next and wasn't sure how to get back to "normal swim" mode.

Second question, when doing a set.....for example 5 x 100's on 1:30 (50 meter pool). When I complete the first 100, do I hit the "pause" button, then hit "start" when ready to start the 2nd 100, or does the watch know I'm doing a set some how? I did activate the "rest timer".

Thanks for any help. It was doing exactly as advertised until I couldn't get out of the drill mode.

Just press the blue 'swim' button to exit the Drill page, recording drills can only be started/stopped from that page.

Press 'pause' when you stop swimming, and 'pause' button again to resume when you want to start swimming again.

Thanks.....will give those tips a try. Hoping to have better success tomorrow AM than I had this AM. :)

Usage tip: you can sit home and practise navigating the watch and the different buttons functionality - to not waste time with trail and error in pool. Start a session and "simulate" what you would do (no need to wave arm :)). You can delete the testing sessions right away. The blue 'swim' button is what you use to browse the different swim info screens, including if you configure it a Custom page, and including if you enable it the Drill page. During a swim session (paused) you can also press 'menu' and disable/enable Drill page, it will not affect already stored drill intervals - useful if you only want this page available when you're actually drilling. Of course it can be enabled always, but you will have one more page to browse past when looking through the swim info in pool.
