Would it be possible to incorporate a tempo bleep into the watch? I'm looking at purchasing a Finis Tempo Trainer but wondered if this could be a feature added on to the watch?
We've played with this and concluded that the beeps are not audible enough on the Garmin Swim to make this work. You might be thinking, "But I can hear the tone when I un-pause and push off the wall". That is actually ideal hearing conditions - hand and ears underwater, no splashing, usually not exhaling so no bubbles going past the ears, etc. We really want the tone to be audible during swimming so we could put in distance alerts. We've tried different tones and different testers and it just can't reliably be heard.
