Activity date wrong

Over the last 1,5 months I have recorded 10 swim sessions on the Garmin Swim. I have now tried to load the sessions into Garmin Connect using Garmin Ant Agent, and all 10 sessions went into Garmin Connect, but all with the same date which is the date of the first swimm activity.

The date and time in the watch are set correct, and the activity dates in the watch are correct.

Please advise!

That is strange and we will look into it.

I expect that now that you have connected to your computer once, the date of future swims will be correct. (The watch takes UTC time from the computer.) Please post again if this is not the case.

Also to note, you can edit your activities in Garmin Connect and enter the correct date. From the activity view for each of them, use the little pencil icon near the top-left, and select "Full Edit". I realize though, that that is time-consuming and it is not our intended user experience.

I have investigated a little further. It seems that the Ant Agent creates both FIT and TCX files. The FIT files has some strange timestamps in the filename (eg 19891231-024806-1-1499-ANTFS-4-0.FIT), but the TCX files has the correct timestamps in the filename (eg 2014-03-04-074249.TCX). I have tried to manually import one of the TCX files, and it contains the correct data. I could of course use this method in the future, but I don't think this is the intended user experience either.

Could it be connected to date format, as I am using a danish Windows 7 where the dateformat is DD-MM-YYYY and timeformat has 24 hours?

I just had the same thing happen, and I updated the records manually. Did it work when you uploaded future sessions?

Whenever I upload an activity other then RUN or CYCLE, it has an hour difference to the real time. So if I do it at 5pm for example, it says 4pm.
It has been happening since the start of summertime, maybe that has something to do with it?

Hi, when I uploaded later swim sessions, the date was correct. It is only the first one - prior to connecting to the PC - that had an issue.

Hi, when I upload my swim sessions, Garmin Connect always writes out my time zone, date and time as if I live in the GMT zone. I live in Australia so the date and time is always incorrect, not just one hour out! Does anyone know how to adjust the time zones so the correct date and time is presented?

U can change your time zone in Settings in Garmin Connect .
