Hello guys, I have just bought the watch and already have 2 questions:
Does the actual lap counter start when you hit start or when you push off the wall?
What about the lap end? Does it matter if I take too long to hit the pause button?
Let's try to picture a situation: I hit start then, by some reason I just don't push off immediately, but wait 2 seconds. Then, I push off.
When I arrive at the wall, I take 2 seconds to hit the pause button.
1) Will the watch trim off those 4 seconds of "inactivity"?
2) I swim at a 25m x 12,5m. And, for warm-ups and medley the coach uses the pool's width, rather than length. So what should I do if the watch doesn't support shorter than 17 meters? Are you guys considering adding such pool lengths? Perhaps with a manual stroke selection mode. I mean, the watch will already know what type of stroke is coming, it doesn't need time to assess the stroke type. Thus, allowing for shorter lengths, right?
You would have options (crawl, back, ***, fly, medley)
Many Thanks in advance. I am excited for joining this community.
