Hi All

I've had a few issues with my 935 almost from the start. Firstly it would unwantedly turn on and off the track running function (sorry I don't know what it's called exactly, but the very first feature you can go into to track distance etc) and would just continually cycle through that. This was a few months ago. Since then it's basically sat under the bed in the box since I couldn't get it to work.

I've recently pulled it out and it's stuck on the blue/green triangle at power-up. I've tried the two right buttons reset thing, but no joy.

The item is less than a year old from the purchase point and has maybe 3 weeks of actual use on it. As per my usual lack of organisation, I don't have a receipt for the item.

Is there a workaround for these issues or is it basically just something I'll have to throw out now?

    To get your watch going again do a master reset 

    • Power off watch (press and hold Light, Yes on prompt)
    • Press and hold Start/Stop and Lap/Reset.
    • Press and hold Light (three buttons should now be pressed in)
    • After first beep, release Start/Stop.
    • After second beep, release Lap/Reset.
    • Release Light.

    The other problem sounds like a button problem. There is a design flaw with garmin buttons. It might be one of your buttons is stuck.

    You might try to rinse them in handwarm water with mild soap.

    But the correct thing is to return it to the shop. Did you purchased it online? Most shops you can view your purchase history.

    Some shops might accept it if you can show your bankaccount with the transaction.

    Thanks for the response.

    Nah no change on the master reset. Still just a triangle. I've tried it a few times now.

    I actually can't remember. It was an online purchase, but I'd really have to go hunt through some credit statements to find it. I guess I may have to do that.

    I have a similar issue with Vivoactive, power off the watch keeping the light button off. Power on your computer and start garmin Express, connect the cable to your watch powered off and wait for one minute ... :)

    Thanks mate. Didn't work for me, unfortunately.
