Disable music controls entirely

Hi, When my Forerunner 935 is connected to my phone and I jump in the car, the watch takes over music controls and the car won't pair with the phone for music anymore. I have to power down the watch, restart the car and all is OK. Is there a way on the watch to turn off music controls, I think it's a feature I'll never use so disabling it would save me some mucking about every time I get in the car.

Disable Bluetooth on the Watch b4 going to the car.

Doing that would prevent phone notifications going to my watch, plus I would have to fiddle with the watch every time I got in and out of the car, not what I want.

I have a Similar Problem with my Ford Focus. Bluetooth has its Limitations.

Attempted 3 way Communication on the Same Service Results in Chaos.

That's the only Workaround I could Find.

I think what you require would probably require a Firmware Change on the Watch.

I'm willing to live with it but you could always contact Garmin Support.
