I am getting a VO2 and load score on Connect but no status indication. Is this a setting issue ir do I need to activate for it to be measured?

Hi All, had a long conversation with Garmin about this problem and despite it happening straight after a software update, they state its a problem with the watch hardware and it needs to be replaced.
Thanks for the info. I also had the problem again recently. No big deal but… disappointing.
Also disappointing that it’s not easy to export the data from my watch. MY data!…
oh well…
After all the discussions, it’s clear they don’t care. Garmin have known about this ‘No status” problem for some time but still sell watches that are flawed and not fit for purpose. The quality all around…

oh well, just today I saw Huawei has a very competitive new watch… I’d really like to stay with Garmin, but… can they compete? Do they care?…
After all the discussions, it’s clear they don’t care. Garmin have known about this ‘No status” problem for some time but still sell watches that are flawed and not fit for purpose. The quality all around is poor. The functionality is great but if it doesn’t work, what is the point!
I was able to regain my Training status.
1. Remove the watch from the Garmin Connect app.
2. Go to the “System-Reset -Delete data and Reset settings" section.
3. Set the basic settings on the watch
4. Add the watch to the Garmin Connect app.
5. Do 2 outdoor runs with GPS or bike with power meter.
I read here
that step 2 didn't need to be a [System-Reset -Delete data and Reset settings], and that a soft reset (hold down top-left/light button until watch powers off) would work.
Any thoughts on that? Is anybody able to confirm?
