Indoor rowing

Does the Forerunner 935 have the ability to record rowing distance when using a stationary indoor rowing machine? If so what are the settings?

No unfortunately the Forerunner 935 doesn't support the ANT+ Fitness Equipment profile so there's no way for a rowing machine to tell the device your distance. You have to enter it manually afterwards in Garmin Connect. Or import the activity from the ErgData app.
