I guess most of us are quite used to that the distance measurement errors are (predictably) different for different types of run.
For me it has always been the case that trail running means shorter measured distance than actual (actual as in careful Google Earth measurement and/or wheel measurement and/or calibrated bike measurement), and that street (city) running means longer measured distance.
After all these years, why hasn't Garmin implemented the possibility to add a user defined multiplier (coeffiecient) that could be set per sport (incl. user defined sports)?
A percentage / km (mile) (of course continously, not as an adder after each km/mile) would be prefect. I would probably use +1.0%, +1.5%, or +2.0% for trail runs and -1.0/-1.5/-2.0 for city (street) runs.
