Tethered swimming recording during Covid times

While Covid is around us, Is there anyway to record my tethered swimming? I heve tried several methods with no success. Openwater (with GPS off) would be my best guess, but did not work.

Hi, I created a new sport profile copied from openwater with gps off. So i had time,strokes and hr when using hrm tri tand

I'd go for open water swimming with GPS off. You won't get distance, but at least you'll get time and stroke metrics.
