Indoor cycling - distance

Hello to all, I use Garmin 935 and Elite Direto turbo trainer. Watching the trainings, I noticed that Garmin, each time, increases the distance 10 times. how do I fix it?

    Is your trainer’s wheel size set properly on the watch?

    Does the information displayed on your 935 match what is later uploaded to Garmin Connect? I am trying to understand your issue better. 

    Also, while looking through Elite's documentation, I don't see distance listed as a metric that this trainer outputs. Depending on how this trainer is being paired, this may affect the readings you are seeing.

    Well 2096 is totaly wrong value for indoor trainer.  It is your rear wheel true value for Outdoor use. It should be around 200mm for indoor trainer. Just go to your connected bike speed or combo sensors sets and scroll to wheel size (if you have some Speed sensor connected) - you will see there some auto calibrated from GPS data wheel size - for 28 inches wheels it will be aroud 2100 (for 28C Continental 4season I have 2122). 

    For Indoor use, change Direto Speed sensor wheel size to around 200mm. And you need to do this manually, as 935 is not able to calibrate using GPS data.

    For Elite Turbo Muin I have 200mm and it gives some reasonable distance.

    Thanks Marcinol, you're right. yesterday I changed the dimension of the wheel and watch started giving me ... approximately accurate data. I'll need to manually adjust even more and compare it to Zwift data.

    Distance is not transmitted by the trainer directly, but speed is, which indirectly affects calculated distance. And since speed in ANT+ profile is represented as a multiple of wheel rotations, setting incorrect wheel size will give incorrect speed, and hence incorrect distance.

    173 mm is the correct wheel diameter for the Direto. (According to Elite's own documentation)
