935 Band Change

My 935 does not have a quick release band, but I would like the option of changing my band to a different colour...
I can only see 'quick release' for Forerunners on ebay.
Has anyone found a good place to purchase other colours?
Is it possible to convert watch to a 'quick release' band?

I am loving my 935!!

Thanks
  • i bought several wristbands at aliexpress for a super cheap price (~3€).
you can easily switch to "quick release", simply unmount the wristband and put the pins back without the wristband and it's done - simply plug in the quickrelease band then.
  • You can buy any of those quick release bands that are for fenix 5 (22 mm) . I have bought mine from amazon. :)

  • Ziegs79 You are probably confusing a QuickFit strap with a quick release kit. The latter is for efficient placement change between wrist and a bike's handlebar. QuickFit straps on the other hand are just different looking straps for your watch and are easily available in many places, both made by garmin and 3rd party brands.
  • Be mindful that the security of non-Garmin bands might be less than desirable. Not necessarily a problem if you run and cycle, but I would not take the chance open water swimming. Considering the price of the 935, saving a few dollars on a watch strap is of minor benefit but could have major consequences
  • In my eyes 50€ compared to 3-5€ is a bit more than just "a few $/€". Never had any issue with any of my "3rd party straps". I will never support this high-end pricing for Accessoires
  • Yeah. the prices of the straps are pretty insane... I have an official leather and silicon quickfit strap which are great, but too expensive imo. I have 2 silicon quickfit straps from ebay for about a 10th of the price of the official one which is perfectly fine. A bit less sturdy but great for overall use.

I did however see reports of others with 3rd party straps having less luck, so your mileage might vary. But for running and daily usage I can't see a problem with the 3rd party ones.
