Did software update 12.20 introduce another new bug?

and maybe something improved? I'm afraid I'm not installing yet ...

I've been running it for a day or so and did a Triathlon today and every thing seemed to work fine. Other smart watch functions also seem fine.. so perhaps for once they didn't introduce anything new

I think mines fine other than this mysterious whispering voice coming from the watch every now again. I can't quite make out what's it's saying, but I did make out the words "Calibrate" and "Altimeter."

Be afraid, very afraid of ever updating anything on any product from any manufacturer. It's all a conspiracy to introduce planned obsolescence by causing our working devices to fall over and fail by incrementally providing bugs one by one until they reach the point where nothing will work ever again.

I'm going back to my abacus, papyrus and two cans connected with a piece of string.

Psst.. be careful to wrap your abacus in tinfoil, or it might still get over-the-air updates via Morse code over radio...

My watch keeps updating to 12.20 every night. Doesn't seem to be a common issue since I did not read about it as of now. I might have to reset the watch... Does anybody know if I have any means to keep the data, so I do not have to re-teach my behaviour to the watch?

Connect it to a computer. Look in the GARMIN folder you'll probably find an incomplete GUPDATE.GCD (mine was 38kilobytes). Delete it and let it download again (should be about 3Mbytes)

I had a similar problem and it was enough to connect a computer and open Garmin Express. I didn’t have to manually delete anything. (I may have had to press Update in Express.)
