Auto-loop and Manual

Hi, as many runners, Ive got an auto-loop every kilometers.
But when running if I want activate a manual loop during a mile it won’t work because stopping after 1Km...
can’t we use both auto and manual loops ?
no solution ?
  • I think you meant lap? Just press the lap button (lower right) to get a lap. You might have to enable the lap button in run settings.
  • As said above, you can use the Lap button while having auto-lap enabled. But the following auto-lap will be based on the distance from when the lap button was last pressed and not the overall distance of the run.

So if after 1km there’s an auto-lap, and the lap button is pressed 0.5km later, the next auto-lap will occur 2.5km into the run instead of 2km as would happen if the lap button had never been pressed.
  • Please explain exactly what you want to achieve. Maybe a structured workout can help recording what you are doing.
  • Thks for reply, it confirms what I described.

My goal is to begin run with autolap every 1k but when I wan go faster during 1mile, I’d like begin a lap with no stop after 1km. I wish if we activte manualy a lap, autolap will be desactivated until we lap again.
but I guess it’s not very useful. It’s ok
  • Difficult to do with structured workouts. You could program something like Warmup - Loop of Mile Repeats - Cooldown. But this would mean you get only one lap for warmup and cooldown each.
Other solution: set your auto lap to 2km, if these laps are not that important like your mile repeats.
