(Yes, I live in a sometimes very cold country.)
Today I went for a run and forgot my HRM belt. I put the watch on the outside of my jacket and another layer of clothing. The watch still tries to record the HR and use it for things like performance condition etc.

Wouldn't it be quite easy for it to discover that it's not human skin touching it directly? What it sees must be very different when it's a jacket instead? I'm amazed that there is a curve there at all, albeit very off, but still within my min/max pulse!
On this topic I'd like an option to disable buzzing while not attached to some kind of flesh. With skin.
It's late. Good night.
