Unusual issue when using for boxing

Hi All.
My 935 has been pretty rock solid for over the year I've had it, except for lately.
Once a week, I do boxing at my work, for around 45 mins sessions, which is pad work not sparing.

I wear the HRM strap on my chest and place the watch on my left ankle, activate Cardio and lock it.

Seems to work fine when I check it (around 15 mins in) but at the end of the session the Cardio app is no longer running and is back at the time screen.

Sometimes it will save what it has recorded before quitting out, sometimes nothing.

Anyone seen this, or can explain why it would keep on quitting?

Thought I would ask here first before logging a support request.

Cheers

Oh I havent hope the admins will come and help you out
  • A "long press" on any key will unlock the keys, so accidental unlocking occurs very easily. To check if that is the cause: perhaps you can place the watch somewhere else where it is stationary, and can still receive the signal from the heart rate strap. Or leaving the watch in a locker and using a HRM strap with memory (HRM-Tri or, cheaper but somewhat less comfy to wear, the HRM-Swim), then see if a full session is recorded afterwards.
  • Just to be clear I am wearing a HRM Tri.
I can;t see how on my ankle the unlock button gets pressed, as there's nothing that can grab it and takes some force to push the button in and hold to unlock.
Tried again and same thing, keeping in my pocket, although more unforgettable seems not to reset the activity.
