Hi,
I was swimming with my 935 + Polar OH1 today, i could definitely see some HR during my swim when stopping at the wall but got nothing recorded in my watch/connect.

What am i doing wrong?

I understand that, but as I've said I could read my FC at some point , at the wall stop or 1-2min recovery, why it's not recorded!?
  • Indoor Swim HR recording is not supported and not recorded. Only StoreAndForward devices, exclusively the HRM-Swim and HRM-Tri, are supported and they show live HR but do not record.

When you end the activity they forward the recording to the watch and it is pasted at the end of the FIT file.
  • I´m a oh1 user too, and it´s a shame you can´t store heart rata with this armband, because it´s super comfortable to wear in the pool. Much much better than the HRM swim (which I bought and had to return because I didn´t know it wasn´t compatible with the 645M).

According to what Polar says online, you can record up to 200h of HR data. I however haven't been able to find out if that recorded data can be synchronized with a FR935 over its bluetooth transmission. There is apparently a standard for recording and sending data over ANT+ that will work with the OH1+.

Have you been able to record and sync with your watch or does anyone know if it is possible with the OH1 (bluetooth)?

Look no further. It won't work.

There is an ANT+ standard, but the Polar OH1 does not follow it.

  • OH1 supports ant+ after software update v. 2.0.10
