Bluetooth issue with magene sensor

Hello. I have two sensors from aliexpress. Magene speed sensor and chest strap. They are both dual ant+ and bluetooth. With ant+ works... But from some time, they cannot be connected to my 935 with 11 firmware by bluetooth only with ant+.
watches didnt recognize bluetooth...
first time when watch find sensor, it was one sensor with two connection -one bt and one ant+. Now only ant+, even I make reset of watches and reset of sensors.. probably no problem with sensors, but in watches... I also wrote to garmin support, but its for long time... I do not have other bluetooth sensors, so I cannot try it with some others. Connection to phone by bluetooth is ok, garmin connect works fine... Anyone has issue with bluetooth this way?
  • I have some dual mode ANT+/Bluetooth LE sensors and found that when they first connect to the watch, both the BLE and the ANT+ variant show up in the sensor list. I then disable the BLE variant (set it to Off). That way the sensor is only ever connected as ANT+. Otherwise it sometimes start as connected via BLE amd then loses connection repeatedly.

You can also opt for only using BLE, I just prefer ANT+ because it is a more reliable connection in my experience.

You can try to remove all dual mode sensors from the devices list in the settings menu, then add them one by one and disable the BLE or ANT+ variants that you don't want to use. A hard master reset that deletes all the data on the device will also delete all defined sensors, but deleting them from the menu is easier.
  • Also ANT+ allows 1 sensor to feed many head units. BLE is strictly 1 sensor, 1 head unit.

No such issues here with my Magene 200 speed/cadence sensor feeding my F935 & Edge 820 but I never use BLE anyway.

OK, I try another HR monitor, even its BLE and ANT+ dual, the only way hoe to connect is via ANT+
I dont understand because my BLE connection with phone works fine...
Today I go to decathlon and will try another dual HR monitor.
I make a hard reset of watches - problem persist
I make delete all sensors from watches - problem persist
  • BLE for sensors really is a pain (as you are demonstrating) - each BLE sensor can only be paired with one device at a 1 (so if you paired it to your phone - it won't even appear as available to any other BLE head unit - like your forerunner) unless/until you explicitly unpair it (or force it into pairing mode to pair with a new device).

If you have (say) a watch and a cycling head unit you can't send BLE data to both simultaneously, only one.

If you use ANT+ you can send it to any and every unit in range.
