Under Sensors & Accessories->PWR my Stryd pod shows the setting "Calibration Prompt". It is currently disabled - What does this setting do and should it be enabled?
Under Sensors & Accessories -> ... I have no "PWR" I have all Sensors listed directly. Here I see my Stryd as "FP -Stryd". When I go there I see a list of "Connect, Status, Speed, Distance, Cal.Factor, Name, Remove". I see this list even when my Pod is sleeping.
Calibration prompt is for power meters. You have the option when the 935 recognizes a power meter to calibrate it before your ride. Stryd can be paired as a power meter, but last I heard you should pair it as a foot pod only. If you are not sure how your Stryd is connected, I would remove it and repair it as a footpod. If the watch asks if you want to add the Stryd as a power meter, politely decline.
If you want to use stryd with a 3rd party data field you have to connect it as a power meter.
Have you had any experience with any 3rd party apps? I find Stryd's power numbers to be very accurate, but would have loved if they spread the range a bit more.

Thanks Steve I will take a look. I've found the options available to train with power limiting. This looks like a step in the right direction. I wish Garmin would just allow power to be used natively in running like they do with cycling.
