Trackback bugs on FR935 ?

A search in the FR935 forums didn't turn up anything so I thought I'd start a new thread.
I ran in unknown locations in July and found it useful to activate Trackback on my way...back, just in case I made the wrong turn. While it did show the track on the map, gave the correct mileage countdown and showed a red arrow pointing in the general direction I found two problems :
- There are no prompts to tell you a turn is coming, only that you're off-route or on-route
- The ETA/ETE makes no sense, looks they're using a speed of 60km/h regardless of the actual speed on the way out.
Anyone else notice these problems and/or have a fix ? Thanks !
  • Only used it to show direct line back to start when running so can't help.

I've only used trackback once and it was a few FW updates ago. I didn't get a prompt for turns either. I wouldn't say it's a bug unless prompts are designed to be given. Can anyone else confirm if prompts are a designed function? I can't comment on ETA as I don't recall what it was reading. I would think I would have noticed if it was showing 60km/hr, but I can't be for sure.
  • Yes I suppose the lack of prompts like for a programmed route might not be a bug but the bogus ETA not based on the actual speed on the way out does look like one. Oh and it doesn't show the proper elevation chart either. It seems they automatically use the navigation pages when that feature is activated but it's only designed to show the track, the distance to go and the general direction of the start point with the small red arrow on all screens.
