Quick access to music controls while Running

Is there a quicker way to access music controls during an activity than long-pressing the light button to get to the control center?

I’m looking at getting an enclosed arm band for my phone and having the volume control handy on my watch would be nice with AirPods, since they have no volume control (Siri is disabled on my phone when the screen is locked and I don’t want to change that). I found a few internet posts on adding Music Control as a data screen. However, I cannot find that as an option in the Add New data screen setup. Did Garmin remove that in a firmware update?

Thanks for any suggestions. Sure would be nice if someone made a data screen just for the volume control.

I managed to add music controls to a sport profile to see if it can be done, so yes it is still possible.

Select the sport profile, go into the settings, choose Data Screens, go down to Add New, go up to select Music Controls.

Or you can press and hold the light button to get into the Quick Controls from anywhere. You still need to have Music Controls enabled as a Quick Control.

Nevermind. I had been playing with it much earlier and added it without realizing it. Turns out you can’t add it twice.
