Sleep Cycle Details, including REM Sleep

Anyone seeing this from their 935? I'm not for last nights sleep.

https://www.dcrainmaker.com/2018/06/...rem-sleep.html

**EDIT**

killed and restarted GCM and got a message that I now have Advanced Sleep! No app updates, no watch updates so something must just get triggered at the GC end I’d guess.

**EDIT #2**

It now appears to have screwed up my sleep time for the past 2 nights, went to be around 10:30-11pm, GC has me not asleep until 2am!
  • Werden jetzt auch Nickerchen erkannt?
    Are naps recognized now?
  • It kicked in on mine last night. Looking back at past nights it shows the REM sleep for those also, so it must be something activated once uploaded to GC based on the data recorded in the watch.
  • All of the sleep quality stats are processed on the backend after the overnight data is uploaded to the Connect servers.

Still not sure if it is accurate or not, but hey, I didn't buy the watch to track sleep. I know within 10 seconds of waking up whether i have slept well or not. I don't need a watch to confirm that.

Did any of you guys try to correct the sleep time? Like extending it?
My vivosport told me I woke up at 2am. When correcting the time, GC usually shows the sleep data even for the extended time frame.
Now there is no data at all for that period of time...

My 935 didn't record any sleep data for last night. Very weird. I mean I went to bed way past my set time, but I always do so on weekends, and it hasn't been a problem so far.
My sleep time is set from 22:00 - 6:00 and from Mon-Thu I usually go to bed between 22:30 and 23:00, and always get up at 5:50. It tracked my sleep just fine. Not so much yesterday, I went to bed at around 01:00, woke up at 8, went to the loo, fell asleep again (not on the toilet) and got up at 10. Both GC, and GCM say no sleep data was recorded. However, my Timeline in GC showed HR data with movement for the time I slept, so I put in my sleep time manually in GCM, and suddenly sleep time showed up with deep sleep, light sleep, and movement. I got a notification though that advanced sleep wasn't recorded. So for advanced sleep to work you have to actually sleep close to your set sleep times, I guess. Which is impractical for people who do not go to sleep at the same time day in, day out.

Since the REM sleep functionality was added the overall sleep metrics for me are way off. I slept 6-7 hours for each of two night this week. However, on 1 night GC recorded 2 hours and on the other it recorded 12 hours. I also notice that the start and end times of earlier activities (i.e., before the update was deployed this week) have been modified, albeit not by much. For example, the start/end times have moved 10-20 minutes but not in a consistent manner.

Separately from this update, I've also found the 935 doesn't capture sleep on a plane.

I'm not getting any advanced sleep data with my forerunner 935
