No military time format on original Garmin digital watchface?

Hi everyone,

I just received my new Forerunner 935 and I'm pretty happy with it. Unfortunately, I did not find a way to set the military time format as on my previous watches (e.g. 01:34 instead of 1:34). The watch is running with firmware 8.0. Am I missing something?

Thanks in avance!
  • No you're not. Garmin's 24 hr format omits the zero.

    Try settings, system, time, format...

I have the F5, and it offers military, 24h, 12h settings.

I think this is yet another tiny software difference between the Fenix 5 and 935 -- the 935 only has 24h and 12h, unfortunately.
  • Thanks for your answers!

Yes, actually I had a 5s and it offered military as well. It's a bit a pitty not to have it on the 935... To me it looks like a useless complication to maintain such differences between software.

In this case I'm going to have a look at the IQ market to find a replacement for the original face.
  • I have two 935s, military time (4 digit with leading zero) will display on one, but not the other (3 digit prior to 10 am).  Both are set to 24 hour time format and use exactly same settings.  The newer one (bought it about 1 year after the first) does not display the time as desired.  Perhaps a firmware issue?
