Screen almost non readable at menus, or white background

I received my 935 the day before yesterday. After the upgrade to 8.0 (i guess) this phenomenon appeared.
Menu's are almost non readable. I found out that it is worst with a white background. (see the attached video).

With Garmin Support on the phone I did a full reset back to factory settings, but the issue returned immediately at setup already.

So my supplier will deliver a new one, so I can sent back the broken one.

And you induce the error by changing the watch face. And how about if you do not change the watch face?

As said, after the reset to factory defaults, the grey overlay is shown.
I will try to make another movie tonight, when at home, and my new watch was received.

I was thinking the same thing. Although there is an intimation that the issue returned after a factory reset. My question is whether it worked properly before making any changes following the reset.

In my imagination, yes. But as the device was so new to me, the day before yesterday, it might not have been.
I will see for sure what happens with the new device, and make side by side video.

I have now received the new device, still at 6.1, but this enforces my believe that the device was totally fine before the update to 8.0

The new device has successfully updated to 8.0 and no issue has developed.

going to run with my 935 for the first time in a few minutes. :)
