No Email Notifications

Help...

I just got a Gamin 935 and I seem to get some notifications from my phone but not all. In particular, I do not get texts or emails. I do get most app notifications such as Amazon or REI, etc.

I have an iPhone X with iOS 11.3 and GCM Ver 4.5.1.1.

I have seen threads that mention using GCM and settings to manage smart notifications but when I go on my phone to GCM and Settings, there is no Smart Notification option.

Help... I know it has been a sore subject.
  • If you get the notification on the iPhone then this should transfer to the watch. Have you suppressed texts and emails from showing on the iPhone home screen?

    Thank you for the suggestion but I do get the notifications on my phone.
  • Same issue here. It just stopped, maybe last week, April 6th. No text or email alerts. The text alerts are something I appreciate, as I can't always look at the phone.
  • In GCM, you have to go into Settings and then Smart Notifications. There you can toggle notifications on or off for all of your phone apps, as long as you already get notifications on your phone for those apps. At least this is how it is in the Android GC app. If it's not the same in the iPhone app then I have no idea how to do it.
