Frequent wheel size auto-calculation during rides

My FR935 shows an alert that the wheel size has been calculated several times during my rides. It usually happens two or three times after one to two hours of riding, and does so two or three times in about ten minutes. I have the wheel size on my sensor set to manual, not auto.

Is this normal, and if not, how do I change this?

Never seen this. If the wheel size setting for the sensor is indeed set with a manual entry then there should be no indications that the wheel size is being set from GPS. Do you have more than one speed sensor? Check your settings. Perhaps remove and re-connect the speed sensor.

I think it's a known issue at least it is for the 5x, the beta 8.54 for the 5x addresses it so I assume it's an issue with the 935 as well, not sure in the past discussion if manual or auto made a difference.

First time I've seen it posted as a known issue for the 935. Did you look through the 935 forum posts before you posted? While there are similarities with the F5 series, they are not identical devices.

As I said, it's not something I've seen. Do you have any CIQ data fields or other 'stuff' added? Mine's our vanilla, straight out of the box. I have magnetless separate speed and cadence sensors on currently. Until recently I had a GSC-10. Either way, with the wheel size entered manually, I never saw a wheel size message.

After not doing this for two weeks, it happened two or three times in a short distance today.

Any thoughts as to why?

I've had this with a beta but it was/is fixed now (at least for me) with latest firmware.

I have the same problem, but with only 1 bike. I have a PowerTap rear hub power meter on my road bike and my 935 is continuously re-calculating my wheel circumference. Very frustrating. Welcome suggestions as to how to stop this from happening. Thanks.

Update to 9.10 -

Fixed an issue causing repeated 'Wheel Size Computed' notifications when connected to a speed sensor.

ok, installing 9.10 now. I had it probably 10 times or more on a 3h ride yesterday. So annoying!

Can confirm it is fixed with 9.10.
