Identification APAC or ROW

Hi guys,

I'm planning to buy a 935 today but I want to be sure that I'm buying the right one.
Do you know if I can know in advance which I'm going to buy ? Is it related to Part Number ?
For example :
- In Singapour : Part Number 010-01746-16
- In USA : Part Number 010-01746-00
- In Australia and Europe : Part Number 010-01746-04
If I'm buying it in Australia, will I get the RoW for sure as it is the same Part Number as Europe ?

Thank you for you help

  • While others might be able to offer some advice about differentiation by part number, I can say that in all the years I've been buying Garmin in New Zealand and Australia, I've only ever had RoW devices when buying from local retailers either on line or in the shop.
  • From one of the files Connect IQ uses for building devices for the store, the part numbers I see are

006-B2691-00 for ROW and 006-B2833-00 for APAC

You'll see this in Garmindevice.xml on the watch.

Maybe the numbers you have are the SKU?
  • hello from China,, I can read that APAC models receive updates late because its firmware,,, If I buy a APAC model, can all the watch be setting in English ? Or the best is to buy a ROW model ? Also, is there in the box a sign we can identified as ROW or APAC model ? it's easy to see ?
