Having smashed the screen of my 630 when I fell over this morning, I have bitten the bullet and ordered a 935. As it's such an expensive watch I would like to get a screen protector. Does anyone have any recommendations?
I have the same one. My first one has cracked, and I need to replace it. It's possible that the protector is slightly more vulnerable to damage because it sits slightly higher than the watch face and about the same level as the watch rim. Or maybe it was just my bad luck. In any case, the watch itself is fine.
Has anyone had experience replacing one of these? What's the best practice?
I hit my watch face on the corner of a workbench that had the metal diamond plating on it. It cracked the screen protector, but the watch face was undamaged. There was no problem replacing it. I carefully used a razor blade to lift the edge. Once air got underneath the screen protector it came off easily.
Hi first bought these (https://www.amazon.de/dp/B073QL7RNT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_50gLAbV6ZYVBK ) but I kept noticing the protector. It has a rounded edge, which feels nice but reflect light all the time. Because of that you always see the edge of the screen, something that isn't visible without a protector.
There are some difrences between them now I used short after each other. The first is thicker, it grows over the watch so laying it flat on a table, it will rest on the glass. Another thing I noticed is the visible smudge. The first one is really good in not attracting any dust, finger prints or what so ever. Second one is way less visible but does attract fingerprints and stuff more.
I've got the Kimilar and its great. Scrapped my watch along a brick wall edge recently and that created a perfect 'score' in the protector - but the screen underneath was fine. It fits great, and I dont even notice its there. If anything, it smooths out the watch face/bezel and improves the feel.
