Garmin Forerunner 935 increases the stress level !

Hellol!

Garmin Forerunner 935 increases the stress level against Vivoactive 3. I make the test 3 days.
Restart to factory settings, remove apps, send to service. No solution. Garmin Forerunner 935 does not work right.

Do you have the same problem? I'm looking for a solution to the problem... !? ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1312844.jpg ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1312845.jpg

I have the same issue in my Fenix 5 Sapphire after update to 7.6v. After reboot stress levels look normal for few days and after that the problem comes back. I have contacted Garmin and they confirmed that it is an issue also in Fenix 5. I hope that it gets fixed soon, stress statistics is extremely interesting when it works.

The most recent software update includes changes to the All-Day Stress feature, a metric provided by FirstBeat. These changes are designed to provide a more accurate stress value. It can take several days of consistent usage (wearing it overnight will improve accuracy) for the new stress levels to adjust.
  • That doesn't feel correct to me Garmin-Joey - with similar activity & HR profile (like when I'm asleep) previous stress level would be high teens, low 20s - now it's high 30s/low 40s - according to you, I'm stressed even when the same device is reporting me as being deeply asleep!

Edit: a full reset is not a cure, it's a workaround - I work in medical electronics, full reset there often means restarting the patient... if you have a bug that requires a reset, your regression testing regime needs to be investigated as a matter of urgency

Garmin software really has gone quite shabby. They release products, quite expensive products and then get the purchasers to do all the running around and report the bugs. And the classic shoot themselves in the foot moment is when they release software like version 8.0.0 for the 935 to fix bugs, and break a whole host of other features that worked perfectly.

Currently, the broken things on my 935 are

All day stress - never functioned properly on my watch
    Post 8.0.0
    The elevation just goes crazy!
    Temperature is pure garbage.
    Floors no longer reports anything
Intensity minutes - target value is 150, no matter what you set it to in GC.

Really glad I updated to version 8.0 now, thanks Garmin!

Garmin-Joey, please update us and confirm that this all day stress issue will be fixed very soon for the 935, F5 and Vivoactive watches? A date in the near future would be nice!

Are you certain this is 8.00 related? Everything you've listed is working properly on my watch with 8.00.
  • My experience of more than 2 months with Vivoactive 3 shows that after 7 days a factory reset is needed to normalize the stress level.

Yes, absolutely sure, lots of other users have posted the same issues. Garmin have also admitted it is broken by the update and are working very slowly to fix it.
