Forerunner 935 and Polar H10

I'm using the polar h10 paired with my forerunner 935 and noticed the the h10 seems to keep dropping out every 5 or so minutes(shows measuring heart rate screen on forerunner). Has anyone else has had this problem, and if i purchased a garmin hrm run would it possibly be a more stable connection?

I'm not familiar with the H10 strap, but it may be something as simple as a weak battery. It could also be the strap is dry and needs to be moistened with water or gel. I use a HRM-Tri and standard Garmin soft strap with my 935 (also use speed, cadence and tempe sensors) and have never had a problem with any of them dropping out for any other reason than what I already mentioned.

    What?
  • I regularly use the H10 and FR935 and haven't experienced any problems. Do you have the latest firmware installed on the H10?

I have it updated. I think it's fine for when im doing a exercise but keeps going back and forth while just using it for resting heart rate.

It's the same for me. It's fine when doing exercise, but when doing resting heart rate, my Fenix 5S automatically disconnects in favour of using the optical wrist HR sensor from the watch.
  • Heart rate straps are only used during an activity if paired. Normal behaviour is to use HR strap for an activity if there is one, then disconnect once exited from the activity.
