• Fixed an issue where Broadcasting Heart Rate was not working as expected, if accessed from the power controls menu.
• Fixed an issue where Flashlight would turn off when using gestures.
[h=2]Installation Instructions[/h]
• Connect your Forerunner 935 to your computer using the USB cable.
• Download and unzip Forerunner935Beta.zip. Place the GUPDATE.GCD file in the \GARMIN folder of your device's internal storage drive and the GUP2665.GCD file in the \GARMIN\REMOTESW folder.
• Disconnect your device from the computer, approve the update on the watch, and wait for the update to finish.
• If you would like to revert to the last public release software, follow the above steps but place the GUPDATE-760.GCD file in the \GARMIN folder and GUP2665-530.GCD in the \GARMIN\REMOTESW folder. Rename GUPDATE-760.GCD to GUPDATE.GCD and GUP2665-530.GCD to GUP2665.GCD before disconnecting your device. NOTE: If you revert to an older version of software, all of your settings will be reset to defaults.

Please feel free to discuss this beta version in this thread, but be sure to also submit any feedback to [email protected].
• Have you searched for RHR here on the 935 forum? Up to now Garmin's way of determining RHR for those who wear the watch 24 hours a day is odd to say the least. I would like to know what they have changed.

I reached Garmin support because after the update (8.0) my RHR is messed up, since in few days I went from 50 to 70. I have been told nothing changed what is not true at all. Now it take more than 30 min to stablish a new RHR figure for the upcoming day. Also graph widget is showing lower values than RHR. Something's changed for the worse.
• Update to 8.00 - but I report this issue
--> number of floor climb is too high
• Hello. I have connectivity issues and your support ask me to "Upgrade" from 8.0 to 7.93 beta! Is that really an update of anyting? Sounds to me that 8.0 is just a release of 7.93 beta.

It sounds as if there was some confusion. Version 8.00 is just the final official release of beta 7.93.

Garmin-joey please us please, take a POSITION ON THIS FORUM!
I also posted in other thread discussing about the problem with these watches and Huawei mobiles.
I had a 735xt that I changed because of the connectivity problems, now I have a 935 because some days ago I read about the new versions with your explicit "fixed problems with HUAWEY phones" butbut situation is not changed.
The GConnect expect the 935 bt connection but with no success...
It's incredible, I read everywere on the web about these problems since last years and were is Garmin?
I connect a lot of device with my phone and I never had any problems...
I hope...but you have to say something at least to your customer...

Hi, thanks for your prompt reply.
Sorry but I'm super-frustrated.
The support center received all the info they need about my previous and present phone but the answers are always the same: try to reboot...update the fw...
only precpompiled mails or standard conversation...

I'm very disappointed, I buy this new watch with great hopes but...

I have not seen any improvment on anything since december. I only see caos. Your suppport tell me to upgrade watch to 7.93 beta, when I'm on latest 8.0. Also they tell me to update Garmin Connect on android to versions that only exist for ios. I have been out of smart notifications, and sync since december. and your support threat me as a beta tester and don't seems to know anything about which releases that are active or anything. It is a real ,mess.
